The Outbound Business Development Representative is crucial to growing our business. The main focus of this position is developing qualified prospects for our sales process through cold calling, referral network nurturing, partner channel development, and managing of marketing and social media programs designed to cultivate prospects for deeper qualification.

We are looking for a Business Development Representative who has a natural inclination for selling and excels in a competitive, merit-based environment and wants to play a key role in Grokker’s growing Enterprise division. You will

  • Develop and manage target prospect lists through Salesforce and accomplish cold outreach to potential clients
  • Educate prospects on the value of Grokker’s solution and create interest
  • Generate qualified leads and set sales appointments

You have

  • 2+ years experience as a Business or Sales Development Representative (BDR or SDR)
  • SaaS or HR Benefits BDR/SDR experience a strong plus
  • Desire to become an expert in the art of selling
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience
  • Desire to exceed your quota, exceed your earnings targets, and grow within the organization
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong listening and presentation skills
  • Ability to work in a fast pace, open, collaborative, passionate and driven environment requiring strong initiative and creativity
  • A self-starter who can effectively work both independently and in collaboration with sales team
