Sales development representative

We are looking for an all-star Sales Development Representative to play a key role in Grokker’s growing Enterprise division. About you:

You’re a world-class Sales Development Representative (SDR) who identifies sales opportunities, creates interest, and drives awareness of the Grokker solution. You enjoy prospecting, working your hard-earned connections as well as following up on marketing generated leads. You are a highly organized appointment setting wiz who loves exceeding your daily goals for the Sales Team. You are relentless and creative. You enjoy mapping accounts and figuring out how to get in. You are a team player. You have experience calling on large employers (8,000 employees+). Experience in Human Resources preferred, but not required.

Every day you:

  • Educate prospects on the value of Grokker’s solution.
  • Assist in driving Grokker’s revenue growth through outreach emails & phone-calls, and social selling with a focus on setting demos with prospects for the sales team.
  • Schedule 12+ appointments/month with Decision Makers
  • Research new prospects through various channels (web, social, LinkedIn, etc).
  • Master real-time CRM tracking and update all prospect interactions.
  • Demonstrate a strong desire to exceed your quota, exceed your earnings targets, and grow within the organization.

Must-haves:

  • 4 Year Bachelor of Arts or Science Degree
  • 1 - 3 years successful experience in sales or marketing

Client success manager

We are looking for an all-star Client Success Manager to assist our clients in achieving the highest levels of success. The CSM will have primary responsibility for the construction & execution of client specific strategic plans for their portfolio. They will oversee the day-to-day account management activities for the assigned clients by working closely with other functional departments within the company. The CSM will also support our Sales Development team with pre-sales and upsell efforts.

A day in the life of a client success manager:

  • Own all aspects of client relationship while delivering the highest level of client satisfaction and ensuring contract renewal and growth. This includes: implementation, strategy action plans, execution on backend deliverables, employee communications and user adoption.
  • Organize and lead effective customer interactions including weekly meetings, on site launch events, client business reviews and product demos. This includes performing analytical reviews of client results and developing strategic action plans aligned with client’s goals and objectives.
  • Draft custom marketing language for client launches, challenges, blog posts, and special events.
  • Serve as a Project Manager and expert on internal implementations and client initiatives. This includes being a customer advocate with internal departments to implement and drive strategies to enhance our product and client services.
  • Develop deep product knowledge with the ability to effectively communicate product roadmap and engagement solutions to customers to lead strategic conversations. This skill must be leveraged across live meetings, telephone and video conferences, leading with your passion and excitement for the product.
  • Manage and execute on backend tasks (i.e., you’re not only the face of Grokker to our clients, but also the behind the scenes client support). Staff client events and wellness fairs, as the key face of Grokker. Your confidence, public speaking skills and ability to excite and inspire employees is key. (occasional weekday travel)

To be successful in this role, you must:

  • Be a self-starter with a can-do approach: you’re not afraid to roll up your sleeves and you’re confident in doing so.
  • Have a proven ability to build rapport with all types of people, and demonstrated track record of managing successful client relationships.
  • Be confident troubleshooting client issues with the ability to manage tough conversations and come up with energizing and creative win-win solutions.
  • Maintain a high level of professionalism with excellent public speaking and presentation skills.
  • Exhibit an ability to analyze reports and provide data insights to clients and internal leadership team.
  • Be adept at Powerpoint for external client presentations.
  • Show strong leadership skills, sense of ownership and confidence.
  • Be self-directed with ability to perform effectively under pressure and work independently.
  • Have experience and confidence drafting written and design-based marketing pieces when needed.

Qualifications:

  • 4 Year Bachelor of Arts or Science Degree.

  • Sales executive with 3 to 6 years achieving and exceeding territory quotas
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment requiring strong initiative and creativity
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong listening and presentation skills
  • Strategic and solution sales capabilities that support selling to C-level
  • Knowledge of SaaS B2B software sales and CRM
  • Ability to work in a fast pace, open, collaborative, passionate and driven environment

  • Desire to be part of an early stage, fast growth, and tech enabled services company

You also:

  • May have a knowledge of the employee benefits, payroll, and/or wellness industry and experience selling to HR
  • Develop in-depth knowledge of our entire product suite and effectively sell to clients through initial phone conversations, face-to-face meetings, and product demonstrations
  • Align Grokker’s solutions with the customer’s strategic objectives
  • Effectively manage and drive multiple concurrent sales cycles
  • Qualify leads from both house-generated, inbound sales leads and your own efforts
  • Work efficiently with Grokker customer success team to forecast resource needs and onboard new sales
  • Accurately and consistently forecast sales bookings. Responsible for consistent, clean pipeline data within CRM
  • Represent Grokker at industry conferences
  • Travel as necessary to present to clients and close deals
